                               The Solomon Estate

1 St. Petersburg Court, Rancho Mirage, CA

Located in the heart of Rancho Mirage, the Solomon Estate is considered by many to be the most desirable property in all of the Coachella Valley, if not all of Southern California. Situated on five incredibly landscaped acres, it seems a Paradise Lost unto itself while still being located within several minutes of posh hotels, incredible shopping and a trove of upscale restaurants.

Mediterranean in exterior elevation and appearance, and crafted with old world adherence to detail, this architectural masterpiece hearkens back to days of yesteryear, reminiscent of an understated elegance, very seldom found in this day and age.

Strengthening Voices. Inspiring Possibility.

Welcome to SongShine. Innovative, original, and profound, SongShine is a music and creative imagination based immersive, holistic program that strengthens voices. Whether you (or someone you know) have a diminished voice due to Parkinson’s, stroke, another neurological disease, or aging, our program harnesses the power of brain, breath, and emotion to transcend limitations and help people thrive. SongShine’s program reclaims voices and transforms lives. Inspiring? Absolutely.

A Program That’s Both Heart and Science.

SongShine is designed around the leading edge science of neuroplasticity – the human brain’s ability to reorganize itself and change. By stimulating alternative brain pathways, singing and music fortify the voice and facilitate speech recovery. The brain’s ability to rewire is miraculous, which is why SongShine is so powerful. Think of it as heart and science.

Because speech is the cornerstone of communication, SongShine is committed to improving the lives of people with neurologically-compromised speech. We train instructors using singing, speech, and creative imagination to strengthen voices. Whether you are a prospective instructor, have Parkinson's disease, stroke, other neurological disorders, or simply have an aging voice, we WELCOME you.

"Before taking SongShine classes, my voice was so soft I could barely hear myself."
Harry Hulson
Palm Springs, California
[ Harry is now able to speak on the phone, carry on conversations with people for extended time and resume activities
that require the use of his voice. Harry has made an excellent solo CD and has sung in karaoke settings.
He made his solo singing debut with the SongShine Singers in February 2008.
Prior to developing Parkinson's, Mr. Hulson was an accountant; after SongShine, music has become a new passion. ]

"As my Parkinson's has progressed, I have been fearful that I would have to quit singing
and that my speaking voice would just get softer and softer. Now I know that won't happen.
You [SongShine] have changed my life forever."
Joyce Olson
Portland, Oregon

"SongShine helped me recover my ability to speak again."
Bill Parry
Covenant Village of Turlock, California

"Four years ago, I noticed a tremor in my right hand. My voice was getting weaker. I have Parkinson's.
Then three years ago, I discovered SongShine. I'm not as sad as I used to be.
Now I'm happier and my voice is coming back -- I sing every day -- I have many new friends.
SongShine has changed my life."
Myron Thielman
Palm Desert, California
